Broken PT-symmetry for the Pauli equation with complex boundary conditions.


Propagation of complex eigenvalues of the Pauli Hamiltonian, subject to non-Hermitian PT-symmetric boundary conditions. There is a pair of real eigenvalues (blue balls) which remain on the real axis for all the values of the boundary coupling parameter. The other pairs collide and form complex conjugate pairs that propagate in the complex plane until they meet on the real axis and become real again.
